i. to study the concept of working and walking in Christ and
ii. to teach the importance of building our enterprises on Christ-like manners.
Today is Rogation Sunday: a day to pray for God's blessings on our works and professions. Rogation means passionate prayer for a particular purpose, but we need to do our work in manners that will make our walking with God perfect. 'Work' simply means mental or physical efforts applied in order to archieve a purpose or result. Working in Christ therefore means performing profitable duties in godly manner. Walk on the other hand means to move from one point to the other in order to archieve a purpose. Therefore, walk in Christ means going about our daily routines in godly manners. The Bible passage today explains that when we work in God's ways, we would be blessed beyond measures. Going through our study guides, we shall learn many facts on working and walking in Christ.
1. From the context of our introduction, explain the cause: work and walk in Christ.

As today is dedicated to prayers on our business, work, endeavours and all we do to earn our living, let us always remember that walking in Christ will make God take charge our work for absolute success. May God give us grace to do this in Jesus name.
